The FAB Defense RAPS-C is a collapsible precision stock designed for rifles using a carbine-style receiver extension. Carbine-Length Precision Stock Design

The RAPS-C differs from a conventional collapsible AR stock by adding the fit adjustments normally associated with a precision rifle stock. The shooter can adjust cheek height and fine-tune the rear length independently of the larger position changes provided by the carbine receiver extension.

This gives the rifle two levels of length adjustment: the normal collapsible movement along the buffer tube and the RAPS-C's additional buttpad adjustment. The result is a stock that retains a compact carbine configuration while offering more control over head position and shoulder fit.

1Latch Adjustment System

The 1Latch system places the main cheek-rest and length-of-pull adjustments under a single control. Releasing the lever allows the shooter to establish the desired rear-stock dimensions, while locking it secures those settings.

The control can be arranged for right- or left-handed use, making the primary adjustment system accessible from either side of the stock.

Length-of-Pull Memory

The RAPS-C includes a memory function for the adjustable buttpad. Once a preferred length is established, the buttpad can return to that preset extension when released. This is particularly useful when the stock has been collapsed for storage or transport and the shooter wants to return to a familiar firing position.

The fine length-of-pull adjustment provides approximately 32 mm / 1.26" of additional travel beyond the adjustment available from the carbine buffer tube itself.

Adjustable Cheek Rest

The integrated cheek rest provides up to approximately 42 mm / 1.65" of vertical adjustment. This allows the comb height to be matched more closely to the shooter's optic and mount height, helping establish a repeatable head position behind magnified optics or other elevated sighting systems.

Adjustable Buttpad and Monopod Rail

A heavy-duty rubber buttpad provides a non-slip contact surface against the shoulder and includes vertical adjustment for additional control over stock placement.

The underside of the RAPS-C also conceals a Picatinny rail intended for attachment of a compatible monopod. This allows the rear of a precision-oriented rifle to be supported mechanically when the shooting position calls for it, while keeping the rail tucked into the stock when no monopod is installed.
