Benelli M2-G1 Tactical Shotguns
Benelli M2-G1 Tactical Shotguns For Sale
The Benelli M2-G1 is a 12 gauge semi-automatic tactical shotgun introduced by Benelli in 2026. It is the first gas-operated shotgun in the M2 family. It runs Benelli's new Rear Piston Operated (RPO) system: dual short-stroke pistons mounted close to the chamber, with the recoil assembly moved into the stock, away from carbon and debris. The result is cleaner operation, simpler maintenance, and consistent cycling over long round counts.
Every M2-G1 ships with an 18.5 inch barrel, ghost ring sights with a Picatinny rail, an M-Lok forend, enlarged controls, a beveled loading port, QD sling mounts, and a parkerized bolt. Choose a fixed stock or a 5-position telescoping stock with an upgraded pistol grip. Botach stocks all five factory models and prices them below MSRP.

Benelli M2-G1 FAQ
What is the Benelli M2-G1?
The M2-G1 is Benelli's 2026 tactical semi-auto shotgun. It is a 12 gauge with an 18.5 inch barrel, ghost ring sights, an M-Lok forend, and up to 7+1 capacity. It is the first M2 to use a gas operating system.
Is the Benelli M2-G1 gas operated or inertia driven?
Gas operated. Previous M2 shotguns used Benelli's Inertia Driven system. The M2-G1 switches to the new Rear Piston Operated (RPO) gas system for cleaner, more consistent cycling.
What is Benelli RPO (Rear Piston Operated)?
RPO is Benelli's new gas system, introduced on the M2-G1. Two short-stroke pistons sit close to the chamber, and the recoil assembly is mounted in the stock, protected from carbon and debris. The design reduces fouling and simplifies maintenance.
What is the difference between the M2-G1 and the M2 Tactical?
The operating system and the features. The M2 Tactical was inertia driven with 5+1 capacity. The M2-G1 is gas operated with 7+1 capacity on most models, and adds a telescoping stock option, an M-Lok forend, enlarged controls, and a beveled loading port.
Benelli M2-G1 vs M4: which should I buy?
The M4 uses the combat-proven ARGO gas system and is the military standard. The M2-G1 runs the newer RPO system, holds 7+1 rounds standard, offers a telescoping stock and M-Lok, and costs less. MSRP starts at $1,949 versus $2,299 for the M4.
What models does the Benelli M2-G1 come in?
Five factory models: 11610 with fixed stock and 5+1 capacity, 11611 with fixed stock and 7+1 capacity, 11612 with telescoping pistol grip stock in black, 11617 in Flat Dark Earth, and 11622 in MultiCam Black. Botach stocks all five.
How much does the Benelli M2-G1 cost?
MSRP runs $1,949 to $2,149 depending on the model. Botach sells the M2-G1 below MSRP, starting at $1,599. Current prices are listed on each product page.
When was the Benelli M2-G1 released?
Benelli introduced the M2-G1 in 2026 as the new tactical model in the M2 family.
Is the Benelli M2-G1 legal in my state?
It depends on your state. Features such as a pistol grip or a telescoping stock are restricted in some states. The fixed-stock models 11610 and 11611 are configured differently from the pistol grip models. Check your state and local laws before ordering, or contact Botach and we will help you confirm.
Does Botach have the Benelli M2-G1 in stock?
Yes. In-stock models ship fast from our Las Vegas warehouse to your local FFL dealer for transfer.
