With a 4.5 lb total pull weight and a durable Nickel Boron finish, this trigger ensures a smooth pull and crisp break every time you squeeze the trigger. The two stages of this trigger consist of an initial 2lb pull that brings you to a “wall”, where the hammer and trigger are set to break for the shot. After that, it’s only a 2.5 lb pull to fire, helping you to make accurate shots with short resets in between.

Great trigger for the money! Slick and needs very little grease for it to run smoothly. Not a Geissele but not $200.00 either. I would but again if I am in meed of a good 2 stage trigger system.

As Advertised - Best Trigger in Price Range
I ordered this trigger on a whim because of the price, mostly. When I received and installed it, all my expectations were exceeded. The group installed with one minor hitch, where the disconnector tail must be below the trigger tail before inserting the pin. Be sure that the disconnector spring stays in place too (with a dab of grease). Stage 1 takes 2.5# to stop; Stage 2 takes another 2.5# to release. Both stages can be "adjusted" using different trigger-return & hammer springs, but the springs included with the assembly are just fine. The Stage 1 pull is a bit shorter than most other 2-stage triggers, but the stop is distinct. Stage 1 is ever so slightly rough, but will smooth-out with use. Stage 2 breaks crisply, as well as triggers 4x the cost. The reset is short & distinct with plenty of disconnect engagement. With practice, on could control the reset to make the trigger feel ALMOST like a single-stage. I will be ordering more of these for future builds for myself & friends.

Fantastic trigger
This trigger is fantastic. There is absolutely no slack or overtravel, the weight is suitable for all but benchrest shooting, and the break is crisp and predictable. The nickel boron finish is slick and durable, and unheard of at this price. If you don’t mind installing a trigger kit instead of a cartridge, this trigger is a no-brainer. It’s performance matches products costing two or three times as much.

Schmid 1005 Trigger
I tried one of these as an upgrade several builds ago and it has become my go to trigger upgrade. Mil-spec install and smooth shooting. Two stage gives a choice of takeup and a target trigger or a 5# smooth regular pull. First rate product; highly recommend.

Fantastic
This is absolutely ridiculous for the money. You would be hard pressed to beat this trigger if you spent another $100-$150. It's super good for what AR triggers normally cost. If it cost twice as much it would still be worth it.
