Works well
The mag release works well as it comes. Only negative is the difficulty removing a full magazine with it. You have to press quite hard in comparison to the right side mag release. Hardly an issue but possibly correctable through design.

I love it!
It's easy to install, easy to use and works on every kind of mag I own except full ATI 60 round Schmeisser mags, because they swell when packed and don't fall out of anything. :)

Great!
Everything works as designed. The only thing I would say to anyone, which goes with any ambi release, is that you have to be sure to only press on the edge. The part that will release the mag is very small, and you can quickly get over the pivot point, which won't do anything. So make sure you just hit the edge.

Good but unfortunate
Won’t leave a bad review because it was my fault I didn’t read the description. After reading the description it does work as intended. I’m a lefty and was hoping to be able to use this mag release with my left hand but it is too stiff for that function. However, it says you will be able to initiate the mag release with your non firing hand with your thumb (which I don’t know why anyone would want to do that as a righty) but it works that way nevertheless.

Ambi mag release
This is my 2nd one of these Battle Steel ambi mag releases. It's inexpensive and works well with both my lowers.
