Noveske N4 Gen4 Recon 5.56 NATO 16" Stainless Rifle, Tiger Eye Brown

The Noveske N4 Gen4 Recon combines a 16-inch stainless Recon barrel with a Gen4 7075-T6 receiver set, 15-inch Gen4 NSR M-LOK handguard, and ambidextrous lower-receiver controls. The stainless barrel and Gen4 receiver architecture are the defining mechanical features of the rifle, while the Tiger Eye Brown Cerakote gives this configuration its factory finish treatment.

The 16-inch barrel uses a mid-length gas system with a .750-inch low-profile gas block pinned directly to the barrel. Noveske also uses an extended feed-ramp barrel extension and corresponding extended feed ramps in the Gen4 upper receiver.

The lower receiver adds ambidextrous bolt-release and magazine-release functions, giving the Gen4 configuration a different control layout from a conventional AR-pattern lower with primarily right-side magazine and left-side bolt controls.

16-Inch Stainless Recon Barrel

The rifle uses Noveske's 16-inch stainless Recon barrel with a mid-length gas system. The barrel extension incorporates extended feed ramps, matching the feed-ramp geometry of the Gen4 upper receiver.

The .750-inch low-profile gas block is pinned to the barrel. That mechanical attachment is part of the factory barrel and gas-system configuration rather than an externally mounted accessory.

Gen4 7075-T6 Receiver Set

The Gen4 upper and lower receivers are precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The upper incorporates extended feed ramps corresponding with the barrel extension, while the lower provides ambidextrous bolt-release and magazine-release functions.

Those receiver features are central to the Gen4 configuration. The rifle retains familiar AR-pattern operating geometry while adding factory controls that can be accessed from either side of the lower receiver.

15-Inch Gen4 NSR Handguard

A 15-inch Noveske Gen4 NSR handguard surrounds the barrel and uses an M-LOK accessory interface. Its length places the support surface close to the muzzle while leaving the barrel free from direct handguard contact.

The long handguard also gives the rifle substantially more usable mounting and support-hand area than a shorter carbine-length rail while maintaining the proportions of the 16-inch Recon configuration.

Ambidextrous Lower Controls

The Gen4 lower receiver incorporates both ambidextrous bolt-release and magazine-release functions. These controls are machined into the factory receiver configuration rather than added through external aftermarket levers.

For the Gen4 Recon, that control layout is one of the primary differences between the receiver set and a more conventional AR-pattern lower.

B5 Furniture

The rifle is equipped with B5 furniture, pairing the Noveske receiver and handguard system with a modern adjustable stock and pistol-grip layout.

The furniture completes the external configuration, but the core technical identity of the rifle remains the stainless Recon barrel, mid-length gas system, Gen4 receiver set, and 15-inch NSR handguard.

Tiger Eye Brown Cerakote

This version of the N4 Gen4 Recon is finished in Tiger Eye Brown Cerakote. The finish changes the exterior presentation of the rifle without altering the barrel, receiver, gas-system, or handguard configuration underneath.
