The Noveske N4 Gen4 Recon 02000563-SG is a 16-inch 5.56 NATO rifle built around a stainless Recon barrel, Gen4 7075-T6 receiver set, 15-inch Gen4 NSR M-LOK handguard, and ambidextrous controls. The combination of the stainless barrel, mid-length gas system, pinned low-profile gas block, and free-float handguard defines the Recon configuration mechanically.

16-Inch Stainless Recon Barrel

The rifle uses a 16-inch stainless steel Recon barrel with a mid-length gas system. A .750-inch low-profile gas block is pinned directly to the barrel.

The pinned gas block provides a mechanically secure attachment point for the gas system, while the mid-length layout places the gas port farther forward than a traditional carbine-length system.

Gen4 Receiver Set

The upper and lower receivers are Gen4 components machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The lower receiver includes ambidextrous bolt-release and magazine-release functions, allowing those primary controls to be accessed from either side of the rifle.

The upper receiver and barrel extension use extended feed-ramp geometry as part of the factory configuration.

15-Inch Gen4 NSR Handguard

The rifle uses a 15-inch Noveske Gen4 NSR free-float handguard with M-LOK attachment points and a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail.

The handguard extends close to the muzzle while remaining independent of the barrel, providing a long support-hand surface and accessory mounting area without placing direct pressure on the barrel.

Ambidextrous Controls

The Gen4 lower receiver provides ambidextrous bolt-release and magazine-release functions, and the rifle is fitted with a Noveske ambidextrous charging handle.

This control layout distinguishes the Gen4 receiver set from more conventional AR-pattern lowers that place the primary bolt and magazine controls on one side of the rifle.

Bolt Carrier Group

The bolt is shot peened and magnetic-particle tested. The carrier is an auto-profile unit with a staked carrier key.

These are factory inspection and assembly details that relate directly to the bolt-carrier group rather than cosmetic features.

B5 Furniture and Receiver Extension

The lower receiver is fitted with a B5 Systems Bravo stock and B5 Type 23 grip. The stock rides on a six-position mil-spec receiver extension, and a Noveske QD end plate is installed at the rear of the receiver.

This keeps the rear of the rifle in a familiar AR-pattern configuration while the Gen4 receiver set and NSR handguard provide the more substantial differences in layout.

Sniper Grey Cerakote
