The F is the full-size VP9A1. Standard 4.53 inch barrel, 17+1, 23.28 ounces empty, with the Holosun SCS installed at the factory. Direct mount to the VP9 cut, no adapter plate, nothing to torque or re-shim.

The A1 revision's real story is the grip. Four backstraps ship in the box, and they do two different jobs. The S and M straps change the circumference of the palmswell. The other two change the distance from the backstrap to the trigger. Combine those with the interchangeable side panels and you can adjust hand fill and trigger reach independently.

That independence is the point. Most modular grips move both at once, so a shooter with short fingers and a wide palm has to pick which problem to solve. This one lets you fix reach without giving up purchase, which is the difference between a trigger you press straight back and one you steer.

The rest of the A1 changes are practical. Nickel-Teflon on the trigger for a cleaner break. Maritime serrations front and rear for a bigger gripping surface. A factory-flared magwell and a recess cut in the magazine body so a stuck mag strips out instead of fighting you. HK's charging supports on the rear of the slide make racking it easy even for weak hands.
