The subcompact P30. A 3.27 inch polygonal rifled barrel, 10+1, 23.99 ounces unloaded, with night sights and three magazines.

The V3 designation is the trigger. Conventional DA/SA with a serrated decocking button mounted on the rear of the frame and no manual safety. The button sits under the thumb at the top rear of the grip, so decocking happens without breaking the firing grip or reaching for a slide-mounted lever. First round breaks double action, subsequent rounds single action.

The P30SK carries over the full adjustable grip system from the P30 and P30L. Interchangeable backstraps and lateral grip panels on a subcompact frame, which is uncommon at this size and matters more here, since there is less frame to hold in the first place.

An abbreviated Picatinny rail is molded into the front of the frame for a compact light or laser.

Like all P30 pistols, it carries an automatic hammer safety and a firing pin safety. Controls are ambidextrous with dual slide releases and dual magazine release levers.

At 6.42 inches overall and 4.57 inches tall, it holds a 5.35 inch sight radius, which is long for the class and part of why the P30SK shoots better than its dimensions suggest.
