The HK VP9A1 K Tactical is the suppressor-ready configuration of Heckler & Koch's striker-fired 9mm, arriving with a threaded barrel, suppressor-height sights, and a Vortex CCW red dot already mounted. It is a complete host package rather than a starting point.
The 4.70 inch hammer-forged barrel is threaded at the muzzle for a suppressor or compensator, and the extra length over the standard VP9 gives you a slightly longer sight radius and a touch more velocity in the bargain.
The sight package is what makes this configuration work. Suppressor-height irons deliver a 1/3 co-witness through the window of the included Vortex CCW, so the dot is your primary reference with backup irons visible in the lower third of the glass. Those same sights sit high enough to remain usable over the top of most suppressors, which is exactly where standard-height sights disappear.
The black steel slide is serrated and cut for the optic. The black polymer frame carries a textured grip and an integrated Picatinny rail for a light or laser.
Chambered in 9mm Luger at 15+1, the VP9A1 K Tactical ships with two magazines.
