Description
Benelli M2-G1 Tactical Shotgun in MultiCam Black (Item 11622)
The Benelli 11622 is the MultiCam Black model of the M2-G1, Benelli's 2026 gas-operated tactical shotgun. It is a 12 gauge semi-auto with an 18.5 inch barrel, 7+1 capacity, ghost ring sights, and a 5-position telescoping stock with an upgraded pistol grip. The receiver and barrel wear the licensed MultiCam Black camouflage pattern over black synthetic furniture. Of the five M2-G1 models, this is the flagship configuration: full tactical stock, full capacity, signature finish. Botach stocks the 11622 and prices it below the $2,149 MSRP.
Key Features
- RPO gas system. Dual short-stroke pistons mounted at the chamber, recoil assembly isolated in the stock away from carbon and debris. Cleaner operation, simpler maintenance, consistent cycling. First gas-operated shotgun in the M2 family.
- 5-position telescoping stock. Length of pull adjusts from 9-1/4 to 14 inches on the fly. Fits armor, gloves, and shooters of any build.
- Upgraded pistol grip for positive control under recoil.
- 7+1 capacity from the factory extended magazine tube.
- Ghost ring sights with Picatinny rail. Fast acquisition out of the box, optics-ready. Receiver is drilled and tapped.
- M-Lok forend for lights and accessories.
- Enlarged controls built to run under stress or with gloves on.
- Beveled loading port and ramped trigger guard for faster reloads.
- QD sling mounting positions built in.
- Parkerized bolt for corrosion resistance. Modified choke installed.
- 10-year limited warranty from Benelli.
What Rear Piston Operated (RPO) Means
Every previous M2 ran Benelli's Inertia Driven system. The M2-G1 switches to gas. The RPO design collects gas close to the chamber through two short-stroke pistons and moves the recoil assembly into the stock, where fouling cannot reach it. Benelli positions RPO alongside the M4's combat-proven ARGO system: the M4 remains the military benchmark, while the M2-G1 delivers cleaner running, easier maintenance, and lower cost.

Benelli 11622 vs the Other M2-G1 Models
The 11622 is mechanically identical to the 11612. The difference is finish: MultiCam Black here, black with an anodized gray receiver on the 11612, and Flat Dark Earth Cerakote on the 11617. If you want a fixed stock instead of the telescoping pistol grip, the 11611 keeps the 7+1 capacity in a standard configuration. See every model on our Benelli M2-G1 category page.

What is the difference between the Benelli 11622 and 11612?
Finish only. Both are M2-G1 shotguns with the 5-position telescoping pistol grip stock and 7+1 capacity. The 11622 wears MultiCam Black on the receiver and barrel at a $2,149 MSRP. The 11612 is black with an anodized gray receiver at a $2,049 MSRP.
Is the stock on the 11622 also MultiCam?
No. The MultiCam Black pattern covers the receiver and barrel. The stock, pistol grip, and forend are black synthetic. That is the factory configuration.
Does the Benelli 11622 come with a choke?
Yes. It ships with a Modified choke installed, and the 18.5 inch barrel accepts Benelli choke tubes.
