Compliant with AR670-1, the Elite Assault Boot provides all-day comfort while in garrison, and rugged-durability when in the field. Composed of a Cordura and Suede upper, the boot is lightweight and breathes easy. A Vibram® Litebase rubber outsole and Vibram® Specialized Performance Elastomer (SPE) lightweight midsole provides the perfect combination of flexibility and traction. With 8" stack height and lace-lock system, the Elite Assault Boot is the new standard for authorized wear.

Lightweight
These are made more like shoes than boots- very light. The midsole is nice and thick, which is an improvement from the first gen ultralight models. I would pick something stronger for going on target or patrolling, but these are great for light to medium garrison duty, rucking, and PT
