Noveske 02000727 N4 Gen 4 Shorty 5.56 NATO 10.5" SBR, Black Cerakote

Noveske 02000727 N4 Gen 4 Shorty 5.56 NATO 10.5" SBR, Black Cerakote

The Noveske N4 Gen 4 Shorty is a factory short-barreled rifle built around a 10.5" stainless steel 5.56 NATO barrel and Noveske's fourth-generation N4 receiver set. This 02000727 configuration pairs the compact barrel with a 9.75" NSR M-LOK handguard, Noveske Love Handle charging handle, Noveske single-stage trigger, ambidextrous controls, MBUS Pro sights, and a B5 Bravo stock.

The 10.5" barrel and 9.75" handguard keep the rifle compact while preserving useful accessory space around the front of the firearm. Unlike the braceless N4 Shorty pistol configuration, this model is assembled at the factory with a shoulder stock and is classified as a short-barreled rifle.

10.5" N4 Shorty Configuration

The 10.5" barrel defines the Shorty configuration and gives the rifle a substantially shorter overall profile than a conventional 16" N4. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the stainless steel barrel is paired with Noveske's compact NSR 9.75" handguard to keep the front end proportioned to the shorter barrel.

The result is a factory-built N4 intended around a short-barreled configuration rather than a full-length rifle that has simply been shortened after the fact.

Gen 4 Receiver and Ambidextrous Controls

The fourth-generation N4 receiver set incorporates ambidextrous controls, including an ambidextrous bolt drop and magazine catch. A Radian Talon safety further supports operation from either side of the rifle.

The Noveske Love Handle charging handle provides the charging interface and complements the rifle's bilateral control layout.

NSR 9.75" M-LOK Handguard

The NSR 9.75" handguard free-floats the barrel and provides M-LOK mounting slots for compatible lights, sling hardware, hand stops, and other accessories. Its length closely follows the 10.5" barrel, giving the rifle useful forward mounting space without extending unnecessarily past the compact barrel assembly.

A continuous upper rail provides mounting space for optics and works with the included MBUS Pro flip-up sights.

Noveske Single-Stage Trigger

This configuration uses the Noveske single-stage trigger, keeping the fire-control package consistent with the premium component set used throughout the rifle.

B5 Stock and Grip

The rifle is equipped with a black B5 Bravo stock and B5 Type 22 pistol grip. The stock provides an adjustable carbine-style rear interface, while the Type 22 grip maintains a relatively upright grip angle suited to modern AR handling.

Pig Pen Muzzle Device

The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 and fitted with a Noveske Pig Pen muzzle device. This provides the factory muzzle interface for the rifle while retaining the common 1/2"-28 thread pattern used on 5.56 NATO AR barrels.

N4 Shorty SBR vs. N4 Shorty Pistol

The principal difference between this model and the braceless N4 Shorty pistol is the rear configuration and resulting firearm classification. This 02000727 model is factory-equipped with a B5 Bravo shoulder stock and is sold as an SBR, while the pistol configuration is supplied without a stock.
