Description
The North Eastern Arms Compact Carbine Stock (CCS) is the ultimate Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) solution. A collapsible stock; shortening the overall length of the rifle approximately 2 7/8” inches compared to a traditional M4 stock.
The CCS has been designed with the professional in mind, allowing for quick deployment into the firing position. The CCS is a 2 position stock that can simply be pulled into the fully extended position without the need for manipulation and collapsed by depressing the locking mechanism. The CCS is made out of 6061 T6 Aluminum and 4140 steel to ensure its durability in the harshest environments. The aluminum is Type III Hard Anodized and the steel components have been treated with our ARC+ Nitriding giving an added layer of corrosion resistance and durability. The CCS comes as a complete drop-in unit containing stock, stock adapter, buffer tube, spring and modified full auto bolt carrier/buffer. The CCS is compatible with most mil spec AR-15’s. Collapsed Length is 4.5”. Extended Length is 8.5”. Weight is 2 pounds.

Good product, bad service
So the product itself is good, however some glaring mistakes on Botachs part; 1 ) it is not clearly stated anywhere in the listing that this is the PISTOL kit, it does not include the stock, even though it says it is included in the description. 2) after placing my order and noticing the confusion I contacted customer support for clarification, and never received a response 3) this is NEW OLD STOCK. NEA as a company no longer exists, and is further shown by the amount of dust on the packaging and slight corrosion on unprocessed parts, so there are NO replacement parts or warranty available Otherwise the system works as it should, and I dimpled the buffer tube to use a Phase5 universal mini stock. BCG did require a decent amount of cleaning and polishing for smooth action with a AIM sports NiBx bolt and titanium firing pin. The buffer spring is slightly shorter than a standard pistol buffer spring, so I will be trying a pistol length flat wire buffer spring with an adjustable block to see if that performs better than the stock spring. If you are building a pistol, this is a great deal. If you are building an SBR or almost-SBR, then it might be worth it to spend $100 more and get the kit from LWrC that includes a collapsible PDW stock
