Griffin Armament EZ-LOK Barrel Adapter 1/2x28

The Griffin Armament EZ-LOK Barrel Adapter 1/2x28 is the barrel-side interface for Griffin’s EZ-LOK mounting system, providing a fast, repeatable mounting point for compatible EZ-LOK-equipped suppressor setups.

Designed around a single mounting orientation, the adapter allows installation in approximately 4–5 seconds. Its internal taper surface locks against the interfacing EZ-LOK component, helping create a more secure mounting interface and drastically reducing or eliminating common baffle and end cap strikes associated with suppressor loosening.

EZ-LOK Taper Interface

The EZ-LOK system uses an internal taper locking surface rather than relying solely on conventional direct-thread engagement. Once mounted, the taper interface helps hold the system securely in place during use.

The adapter is compatible with Universal QD piston barrel adapters, sold separately, and the complete system maintains the same total weight as Griffin’s legacy direct-thread piston configuration.

Construction

The EZ-LOK Barrel Adapter is manufactured from 17-4 stainless steel and H900 heat treated for increased durability and wear resistance.

A QPQ Nitride finish provides a durable black exterior finish.

Fitment Note

The 1/2x28 Special version is intended for compact, tilt-barrel 9mm pistols with smaller outside-diameter barrels that generally do not have a typical thread shoulder, including examples such as the SIG P365, Glock 43, and Glock 48.

For mid-size and full-size handguns, Griffin recommends the standard 1/2x28 version.
