Griffin Armament DUAL-LOK HRT-556 AM Silencer, Black

The Griffin Armament HRT-556 AM 5.56mm Silencer is built for demanding use where durability, reduced backpressure, and dependable suppression matter. Manufactured using advanced DMLS additive manufacturing, the HRT-556 AM features Griffin’s proprietary Nickel 625X alloy and a purpose-built low-backpressure baffle system.

The redesigned internal geometry helps reduce the amount of gas directed back toward the shooter, making the HRT-556 AM particularly appealing for suppressed 5.56mm platforms. Reduced backpressure can also create a more comfortable shooting experience for both right- and left-handed users.

At the center of the HRT-556 AM is Griffin Armament’s Nickel 625X superalloy. According to Griffin, testing showed approximately 68% greater yield and tensile strength than additively manufactured INCONEL 625 at 1200°F, providing the suppressor with exceptional high-temperature strength for demanding firing schedules.

DUAL-LOK Mounting System

The integrated DUAL-LOK mounting system provides a secure, active-locking attachment designed to resist unintended loosening during extended firing. The system is also engineered to deliver repeatable mounting with minimal point-of-impact shift.

A DUAL-LOK EZ-Brake 1/2x28 .22-caliber muzzle device is included, giving compatible 5.56mm platforms the required mounting interface right out of the box.

Low Backpressure, Sound & Flash Reduction

The HRT-556 AM balances suppression performance with a low-backpressure design rather than focusing solely on maximum sound reduction. Its specialized baffle stack and low-backpressure flash-hider end cap help manage gas while reducing both sound and visible muzzle flash.
