Streamlight 69424 TLR-7X Compact Pistol Light, 550 Lumens, Multi-Fuel, Black

The TLR-7X is Streamlight’s update to the TLR-7, one of the most widely carried compact pistol lights. The main change is multi-fuel power. This compact pistol light runs on disposable or rechargeable batteries. It runs on a standard CR123A, which is included, or on Streamlight’s SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable pack.

Range shooters can train on rechargeables, and duty or carry users can keep a fresh lithium installed for maximum shelf life and cold-weather performance. You don’t need to buy a second light to switch between the two.

Output and runtime

• 550 lumens with CR123A
• 1.5 hours continuous runtime on CR123A; 1 hour on SL-B9
• CR123A operates down to -40°F, a real advantage over lithium-ion in cold climates

Controls built for a firing grip

The ambidextrous rear paddle switches fall under the support-hand thumb on either side. They activate without breaking your grip or reaching forward. The light ships with both High and Low paddles, so you can set it up for your hand size and grip style. Momentary or constant-on activation is standard, and a user-enabled strobe is available. A safe-off position locks out activation so the light won’t turn on in a holster or range bag and drain the battery.

Mounting

The rail grip clamp attaches and detaches without tools and without your hand passing in front of the muzzle. The included key kit fits common pistol rails, including Glock-style and Picatinny/1913. At 2.58 inches long, the light stays compact enough for most light-bearing holsters made for the TLR-7 series.
