Description

Ruger 19126 PC Carbine Takedown Chassis 9mm 16.12" Barrel, Black

The Ruger PC Carbine 19126 combines the PC Carbine's takedown barrel system with a fixed-stock chassis, aluminum free-float handguard, and non-threaded 16.12-inch fluted barrel. Unlike the adjustable-stock, threaded-muzzle chassis variants in the same product family, the 19126 was configured with a fixed synthetic stock and no muzzle threads.

Mechanically, it retains the features that define the PC Carbine platform: a blowback-operated 9mm action, removable barrel/forend assembly, interchangeable magazine well system, reversible controls, and receiver-mounted optics rail.

The model is therefore best understood as a configuration-specific PC Carbine rather than simply another chassis variant. Its fixed stock and non-threaded barrel are meaningful SKU differences, particularly where feature restrictions or exact factory configuration matter.

Takedown Barrel System

The PC Carbine allows the barrel and handguard assembly to separate from the receiver without conventional disassembly. With the action open and the firearm unloaded, the front assembly can be released and rotated free from the receiver.

The system reduces packed length for transport and storage while keeping the barrel and handguard together as one assembly. Ruger also designed the interface so receiver-mounted optics remain with the action when the rifle is separated.

16.12-Inch Non-Threaded Barrel

Model 19126 uses a 16.12-inch fluted barrel with a 1:10 right-hand twist. The muzzle is not threaded.

That detail separates this model from several visually similar PC Carbine chassis variants equipped with 1/2x28 muzzle threads. For buyers comparing individual Ruger model numbers, the barrel configuration is one of the most important differences to verify.

Fixed Chassis Configuration

The 19126 uses a fixed black synthetic stock with a 13.75-inch length of pull rather than the adjustable stock found on other chassis versions. The stock is paired with an aluminum free-float handguard and pistol-grip chassis layout.

Overall length is 35.50 inches and listed weight is 7.3 pounds. The fixed-stock arrangement gives this model a specific factory configuration rather than the adjustable geometry of Ruger's other chassis-equipped PC Carbines.

Interchangeable Magazine Well System

The PC Carbine uses replaceable magazine wells to accommodate more than one pistol-magazine pattern. Model 19126 supports Ruger magazines and can be configured for compatible Glock-pattern magazines through the interchangeable well system.

Rather than making magazine compatibility a permanent feature of the receiver, Ruger built that interface into a replaceable module. This is one of the more significant design features of the PC Carbine platform because it allows the rifle to be adapted around commonly used handgun magazines.

Controls and Optics Interface

The charging handle and magazine release are reversible, allowing the control layout to be configured from either side. The aluminum-alloy receiver incorporates a Picatinny-style rail for optics mounting.

Chassis-equipped PC Carbine models are supplied without conventional factory iron sights, making the receiver rail the primary sighting interface on this configuration.

Model 19126 Within the PC Carbine Family

The 19126 belongs to the chassis branch of the PC Carbine line but differs from neighboring configurations through its fixed stock and non-threaded barrel. Those are factory-level differences rather than cosmetic variations and are important when identifying the exact model.

Beyond those configuration changes, it retains the takedown architecture, modular magazine system, reversible controls, free-float handguard, and optics-ready receiver that characterize the PC Carbine chassis platform.
