Nice upgrade

If you have a MILSPEC rifle with a cold-weather trigger guard that can be used with heavy gloves or mittens and don’t need that functionality, then this is a nice upgrade. It’s easy to install and fills in the gap which has sharp edges and can cut your fingers — that’s not something you’ll notice if you spend an hour at the range, but you will if you carry and manipulate the rifle all day.

Easy to install and looks great. Definitely helps when wearing bulky gloves. Gets rid of gap over the factory style trigger guard and makes it very comfortable. It's tight so no play in this trigger guard.

This KX trigger guard came with a screw to attach the front and a pin for the rear. With just the front screw in the trigger guard moved loosely but once the rear pin is driven in it is rock solid. I was amazed by the overall quality and precision specs this $15 trigger guard delivers, the rear fills the gap almost seamlessly and once installed the larger trigger guard on the lower receiver gives the assembly the look and feel of higher end milled lowers. The product photo does not accurately depict what a smooth, comfortable, and quality trigger guard you'll actually receive. I ordered two initially and was so impressed with the quality that I ordered three more.
