This mount provides solid attachment to the rail and versatility for QD sling hardware. It is a little too wide to fit in the last slot of my Vepr forearm grip, and is heavy, but overall I'm satisfied..

Minimal space on the AUG
I am running this on my Steyer AUG. Top rail space is at a premium on the AUG and the standard sling mount can cause the sling to interfere with the charging handle and or drape in front of the sight(s). This item takes minimal space on the top rail and allows me to place the sling behind the charging handle.
