Description
The M14SCSB (Stripper Clip Sight Base) is a 1913 Picatinny Rail insert specifically designed for use on Mil-Spec M1/M14 rifles that are installed in a SAGE EBR Chassis Stock System.

M1A stripper clip rail
Mount was a little big and had to file the mount down a little. But I got it to fit. We shall see how it holds up on the range!

This piece is great! Nice, well machined piece of steel. Have mounted an Aimpoint H1 on an AD QD mount on my Socom 16. Rock solid!

Great High Quality Product!
This sight base is great quality, fit, finish and function is flawless. It takes a little fitment, but after a few passes on a file, it has a tight fit which is made even tighter utilizing the set screw.

You may need some files
The thing was going into the dovetail, no way. It took a lot of file work and tapping with a delron punch, maybe they intend that to ensure a tight fit? Perhaps recievers vary in dimension. I was very timid with a very small hammer as not to crack the reciever of my new Scout/Squad. Anyway, the final product is very snug, better than sloppy...Burris FastFire 2 installed with Burris protective pic mount in rear notch with a little mod of Burris mount. Aluminum, so super easy. Just remove 1/4" or so of the left side/rear "claw." I dig it. Removed the Scout rail and installed a standard handguard to eliminate the rail hole. Does not co-witness, of course. Rear sight is buried behind the setup.
