Built with a 16.25" quick-change barrel, short-stroke gas piston operation, and FightLite’s Dual-Feed system, this upper is engineered to accept standard AR15/M16 magazines or M27 linked ammunition.

The MCR-556-DFRM features a precision-machined 7075-T6 billet upper receiver, feed cover, and charging handle, along with a billet steel feed tray for strength and durability. Its M-LOK handguard provides modern accessory mounting flexibility with a top Picatinny rail and M-LOK interface positions, while dry film lubricant on critical high-friction surfaces supports performance in demanding conditions.
