The FightLite MCR-556-DFR MCR Dual-Feed Upper Receiver is a professional-grade 5.56 NATO upper receiver assembly designed to upgrade compatible MIL-Spec AR-15, M16, and M4-style lower receivers. Built around FightLite’s Mission Configurable Rifle platform, this upper gives users dual-feed capability with standard AR-15/M16 magazines or M27 linked ammunition.

The MCR-556-DFR features a 16.25" quick-change barrel, 1:7 right-hand twist, 1/2x28 muzzle threads, short-stroke gas piston operation, and a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny handguard for optics and accessories. The upper receiver, feed cover, and charging handle are precision machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, while the billet steel feed tray and dry-film lubricant on critical high-friction surfaces help support reliable performance in demanding conditions.

This upper ships with the belt-feed main action spring, MIL-Spec H3 buffer, carbine stock spacer, extended bolt catch, magazine adapter, RIP Brake muzzle compensator, 100 M27 links, and operator’s manual.
