The FAB Defense KPOS Scout Advanced is a pistol conversion chassis designed for compatible Glock pistols, including the Glock 17 and Glock 19. Conversion Chassis Design

The KPOS Scout Advanced does not replace the Glock's slide, barrel, trigger group, or internal operating components. Instead, the pistol installs into the chassis and remains the functioning firearm while the surrounding structure changes how the handgun is supported, charged, and accessorized.

This approach allows the user to retain the original Glock operating system while adding a stock, fixed accessory rail, and larger support structure around the pistol.

Full-Length Upper Rail

The upper chassis incorporates a continuous Picatinny rail that provides a fixed mounting surface for compatible optics and sights. Because the rail is part of the chassis rather than the reciprocating pistol slide, mounted accessories remain stationary during firing.

This also provides substantially more mounting space than the handgun alone, allowing the use of compatible red-dot sights, backup sights, or other rail-mounted sighting equipment.

Ambidextrous Charging Handle

An M4-style charging handle interfaces with the pistol's slide and allows the action to be cycled from either side of the chassis. This gives the shooter a larger external charging surface and reduces the need to grasp the slide directly while the handgun is installed in the conversion system.

Folding Rear Stock

The rear stock folds alongside the chassis to reduce overall length during storage or transport. When deployed, it provides additional rear support and changes the handling characteristics of the pistol from a conventional two-handed handgun interface to a shoulder-supported configuration.

The folding stock is one of the primary differences between the standard KPOS Scout configuration and the separate KPOS Scout SL family, which uses a different rear-support system.

KPOS Scout Advanced vs. Scout SL Advanced

The Scout Advanced and Scout SL Advanced use the same general conversion-chassis concept but differ in their rear-support configuration. The Scout Advanced uses a folding stock, while the Scout SL Advanced uses the SL-style rear-support system. These are functionally different configurations and are best treated as separate products rather than color variants of the same listing.
