Overview
The Colt SCW Carbine is built for the demanding use of those who protect our communities every day, the Colt Subcompact Weapon is the next evolution in the world's most dependable, thoroughly field-tested patrol rifle; designed specifically for vehicle & aircraft crews, joint forces, special operations forces, and reconnaissance units, the Colt SCW provides for increased mobility and firepower on the modern battlefield, but with longer range capabilities than handgun caliber systems.
Where previous small caliber personal defense weapons were inadequate in caliber or configuration for engaging varying target sets, the Colt SCW in 5.56x45mm NATO provides the stopping power needed. Its ultra lightweight compact design allows maneuverability in highly confined areas of operation.
Featuring a classic quad-picatinny handguard for mounting a wide variety of pro-grade optics, lighting, and ergonomics-enhancing accessories, as well as the highly durable Magpul MBUS Series rear back up sight. The Colt SCW reestablishes the Colt AR15 as the finest tool for local, regional, and national law enforcement agencies. Purpose designed for concealability, weight and bulk have been reduced while maintaining the same lethality, accuracy and reliability expected from Colt.
