The balaclava can be positioned for full-face, half-face, or neck-only coverage depending on the user's needs. Its extended lower section provides additional coverage below the neckline, while the lightweight fabric helps manage moisture during warm conditions and extended wear.

The Combat Cool fabric is also treated with antibacterial properties to help reduce odor caused by microbial buildup.
