The upper combines full-grain leather in high-wear areas with 1200-denier nylon to reduce unnecessary bulk and allow more flexibility than an all-leather boot. A gusseted tongue helps keep dirt and debris from entering through the front, while the padded tongue and perforated PU collar add cushioning around the ankle during extended wear.

Fast Side-Zip Entry

The Chase 9" uses a YKK side zipper so the boot can be put on or removed without completely unlacing it each time. A hook-and-loop closure helps secure the zipper area once the boot is on, while traditional lacing allows the overall fit and tension to be adjusted for the wearer.
