Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale
For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the Roclite 286 GORE-TEX Women's Walking Boots as Grade 3.

GORE-TEX Upper
Designed to provide durable protection and increased comfort, the Inov8 Roclite G 286 GORE-TEX Walking Boots have been constructed using a condura mesh upper. The fabrication provide increased durability by protecting your feet from the trials and tribulations of tough terrain. Condura reduces the risks of abrasion and tearing to ensure complete confidence as you tackle uneven ground. As well as been durable, the upper is also highly breathable to keep you cool and comfortable at all times. The upper allows cool air to flow throughout the construction to keep you cool when temperatures begin to rise; the increase in ventilation creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A rubberised toe bumper also exists on the upper to provide additional comfort and protection on any terrain. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage.

EVA Midsole
The midsole of the Inov8 Roclite Pro G 286 GORE-TEX Walking Boots has been constructed using a lightweight EVA. The full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. Within the midsole, the boot uses a META-PLATE shank. This aligns directly behind the metatarsals, which will provide greater forefoot flexibility as well as control, whilst also retaining underfoot impact protection.

G-grip Rubber Outsole
Featuring Inov8's G-Grip, the graphene grip rubber outsole provides unrivaled grip and traction over unpredictable surfaces, whilst increasing the outsole durability across a variety of terrain, from mud to wet mountain rock and hard-packed trials, the Roclite 400 has you covered. The revolutionary Graphene Grip technology is the toughest and most durable outsole compound that Inov8 has ever created, arguably the toughest and most durable outsole compound on earth. Graphene Grip is scientifically proven to be 50% stronger, 50% more elastic, and 50% harder wearing. Inov8 has gone from using 3 compounds with varying levels of grip vs durability to 1 compound which is Inov8's most sticky but durable outsole yet. Completing the outsole are 6mm cleates with water dispersal channels for unparalleled traction on wet rock.
