Geissele 08-522B Super Duty MOD1 5.56mm SBR 11.5" Bbl.

The Super Duty MOD1 is an upgraded version of Geissele's popular Super Duty series of rifles. The barrel is precision machined and cold hammer forged out of the highest quality steel, featuring a manganese phosphate coat and a chrome lining for excellent resistance to the elements. The barrel is topped with an HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 suppressor-ready muzzle device. One of the Super Duty MOD1 Rifle's more notable features is Geissele’s own Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. This BCG is Nanoweapon coated and features a gas key that’s been properly staked, torqued, and is lined with chrome. Adding to the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group's performance is a cam pin machined from H13 tool steel with a Nanoweapon coating for corrosion/wear resistance, and extended upper rails are included to provide greater stability and improve feeding reliability. Another feature of the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is its Stressproof Bolt, which is precision machined from Carpenter 158+ barstock – a material that is cleaner, has less impurities, and offers greater strength and fatigue resistance.

Other features of the Super Duty MOD1 Rifle is the two-stage SSA-E X Lightning Bow trigger and a Super Duty lower. The SSA-E X trigger is a perfect balance between a classic M4 trigger and a flat body trigger that provides a smooth, lightweight first stage take-up and crisp second-stage break. The Super Duty Lower on the other hand is machined from premium 7075-T6 aluminum, and is equipped with Geissele’s Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit with an ambidextrous configurable safety and an Ultra Precision trigger guard. To accommodate a wide range of optics, the Super Duty MOD1 Rifle is equipped with an updated MK16 Super Modular Rail that’s been perfectly mated to the upper receiver to eliminate and risk of rail rotation. The MK16 rail runs the length of the receiver and fore-grip, and provides more than enough space for iron sights, red dots, scopes, and clip-on thermal/night vision devices. The Super Duty Rifle is completed with a B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmed Stock and an Airborne Charging Handle.
