Description

Franchi 41751 Momentum All-Terrain Elite .223 Rem 18" Bolt-Action Rifle, TrueTimber Strata/Midnight Bronze

The Franchi Momentum All-Terrain Elite 41751 takes the standard Momentum Elite action and builds it into a shorter, more modular .223 Remington configuration. It uses an 18-inch free-floating barrel, extended Picatinny optics rail, flip-up iron sights, 10-round AICS-pattern magazine, and a synthetic stock with integrated M-LOK and QD attachment points.

The shorter barrel and extended rail are the defining changes. Compared with the longer-barreled Momentum Elite rifles, the All-Terrain Elite was developed around a more compact general-purpose format while retaining the adjustable trigger, three-lug bolt, detachable magazine, and threaded-barrel architecture of the Momentum platform.

This .223 Remington version pairs those mechanical features with a TrueTimber Strata stock and Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish on the barreled action. Franchi also rates this chambering for 5.56x45 NATO ammunition.

18-Inch Free-Floating Barrel

The .223 Remington model uses an 18-inch free-floating barrel with a 1:8 twist. The shorter barrel reduces overall length compared with the 22- and 24-inch barrels used elsewhere in the Momentum Elite line while retaining enough barrel length for a general-purpose .223/5.56 bolt-action configuration.

The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and supplied with a muzzle brake. The thread specification is part of the factory configuration and allows the brake to be removed for other compatible muzzle devices where legally permitted.

Extended Picatinny Optics Rail

The All-Terrain Elite uses a one-piece Picatinny rail that extends forward beyond the receiver and free-floats over the barrel. That additional rail length allows conventional receiver-mounted optics as well as forward-mounted long-eye-relief or scout-style optics.

This is one of the clearest differences between the All-Terrain Elite and a conventional hunting rifle. The rail is not simply an optics base; its extended layout broadens where an optic can be positioned on the rifle.

Flip-Up Iron Sights

Franchi equips the rifle with a flip-up rear aperture sight adjustable for windage and an elevation-adjustable front blade. The iron sights provide a complete factory sighting system independent of the Picatinny rail.

That combination of extended optics rail and folding irons reinforces the general-purpose layout of the rifle rather than requiring the shooter to rely exclusively on a mounted scope.

Three-Lug Bolt with 60-Degree Throw

The Momentum action uses a one-piece spiral-fluted bolt with three locking lugs and a 60-degree bolt throw. The shorter bolt lift reduces the amount of vertical movement required to cycle the action and provides additional clearance around a mounted optic.

The bolt configuration is carried over from the Momentum Elite platform and remains one of the core mechanical features of the rifle.

Adjustable Trigger

Franchi specifies an adjustable trigger with a pull-weight range of 2 to 4 pounds. The adjustment allows the trigger weight to be set within the factory range rather than requiring an aftermarket trigger simply to change pull weight.

10-Round AICS Magazine

The rifle feeds from a detachable 10-round Magpul AICS-pattern box magazine. Using the AICS magazine pattern gives the All-Terrain Elite a different magazine architecture from traditional internal-magazine hunting rifles and supports the higher-capacity general-purpose configuration Franchi built around this model.

TrueTimber Strata Stock

The synthetic stock is finished in TrueTimber Strata camouflage and incorporates both M-LOK mounting points and QD sling sockets. Those attachment points are molded into the factory stock rather than added through an external accessory chassis.

Franchi pairs the stock with its TSA recoil pad and interchangeable cheekpiece system, giving the rifle additional flexibility in how it is configured around the shooter and optic.

The All-Terrain Elite Configuration

The All-Terrain Elite is defined by the way Franchi reorganized the Momentum platform around a shorter barrel and more adaptable sighting and accessory system. The 18-inch barrel, extended rail, folding iron sights, AICS magazine, M-LOK stock, and QD attachment points all support a more general-purpose configuration than the longer, more conventional Momentum Elite hunting rifles.

In .223 Remington, that package is paired with a 1:8 barrel and factory approval for 5.56x45 NATO ammunition. The result remains mechanically recognizable as a Momentum bolt-action rifle, but its dimensions, magazine system, sighting options, and stock interfaces give it a substantially different role within the Franchi rifle line.
