Overview
Browning 035523297 X-Bolt HC Max Long Range .300 PRC 26" Bolt-Action Rifle
The Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Max Long Range is a .300 PRC bolt-action rifle built around a 26-inch barrel, 3+1 capacity, and Browning's MAX stock with an adjustable comb. This exact configuration uses an A-TACS AU camouflage stock and belongs to Browning's long-range X-Bolt family.
The defining feature of this model is the combination of the .300 PRC chambering with the MAX stock and 26-inch barrel. Rather than using the lighter, simpler stock arrangement found on more conventional hunting rifles, this configuration provides an adjustable cheekpiece that allows the shooter to better match cheek height to a mounted optic.
That makes the rifle easier to set up around a consistent shooting position, particularly when used with the larger optics commonly fitted to long-range hunting rifles.
.300 PRC Chambering
This model is chambered in .300 PRC and uses a 3+1 capacity. The cartridge places the rifle within Browning's magnum long-range lineup and is paired here with a 26-inch barrel.
The chambering is one of the primary reasons this configuration differs from more general-purpose X-Bolt hunting rifles. Browning combines it with the longer barrel and adjustable stock rather than treating it as a simple caliber change.
26-Inch Barrel
The rifle uses a 26-inch barrel, giving the .300 PRC configuration the longer overall profile expected from the Hell's Canyon Max Long Range series.
That length is part of the factory configuration and contributes to a rifle intended more for deliberate shooting from supported positions than for minimizing overall length.
MAX Stock with Adjustable Comb
The MAX stock uses an adjustable comb that allows cheek height to be changed to better match the shooter's eye position to a mounted optic.
This is particularly relevant on a long-range rifle because optic height can vary considerably depending on the scope and mounting system. The adjustable comb provides a way to establish a more repeatable cheek position without replacing or modifying the stock.
The stock is finished in A-TACS AU camouflage, which identifies this specific factory configuration within the X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Max Long Range family.
Hell's Canyon Max Long Range Configuration
The Hell's Canyon Max Long Range designation identifies this rifle as part of Browning's long-range-oriented X-Bolt lineup. In this configuration, the .300 PRC chambering is paired with a 26-inch barrel and the adjustable MAX stock rather than a conventional fixed-comb field stock.
Those components define the rifle more clearly than the model name alone and are the most important details for buyers comparing similar X-Bolt variants.
