Agilite AMAP III Assault Packs

The Agilite AMAP III is a modular assault pack designed to function as both a standalone tactical backpack and a plate-carrier-mounted pack. Its expandable design allows the main pack to run at approximately 4 liters in a low-profile configuration and expand to 18 liters, with an additional 8-liter beavertail for carrying a helmet, clothing, or other externally secured equipment.

The AMAP III can be worn using its detachable shoulder straps or attached directly to compatible Agilite plate carriers. It can also be mounted to MOLLE-equipped non-Agilite carriers with the separately available AMAP III Conversion Kit. A full clamshell opening and loop-lined interior provide access to the entire main compartment and allow hook-backed organizers or pouches to be arranged according to the loadout.

Integrated hydration, communications, antenna, MOLLE, and placard provisions make the AMAP III adaptable for tactical equipment while the optional EDC components allow the same pack to be configured for laptops and everyday organization.

Plate Carrier Compatibility

The AMAP III can attach directly to Agilite plate carriers without requiring the shoulder straps. Agilite currently states that the pack connects to all generations of its plate carriers without additional attachment hardware.

For non-Agilite plate carriers equipped with MOLLE, the separately sold AMAP III Conversion Kit allows the pack to be mounted directly to the carrier. The detachable shoulder straps can also remain installed when the AMAP III is used as a conventional backpack over a plate carrier or other equipment.

Expandable Beavertail & Storage

The exterior beavertail provides approximately 8 liters of additional carrying capacity and is intended for larger or irregularly shaped items such as helmets, clothing, and other equipment. Additional attachment points along the sides and underside of the pack provide options for securing larger gear externally.

Inside, the clamshell main compartment is lined with loop material for compatible hook-backed organizers. Agilite also offers optional EDC components, including laptop and organizational accessories, for users who want to configure the AMAP III for everyday use as well as tactical load carriage.

Compatibility Note

The AMAP III can be used as a standalone backpack or integrated with compatible plate carriers and load-bearing equipment. Direct mounting to non-Agilite MOLLE plate carriers requires the AMAP III Conversion Kit, sold separately. Optional EDC inserts, laptop accessories, placards, hydration components, and other equipment are not included unless specifically stated in the selected configuration.
