These Bore-tips are made from tough, non-abrasive foam that ensures 100% bore contact, spreading solvents and lubricants more evenly than traditional mops or patches—without leaving behind lint or fibers. They’re engineered to run smoothly in both directions through the barrel, are highly absorbent so they require less solvent, and are washable and reusable for multiple cleanings. Designed to fit a standard cleaning rod with 8/32 threads, the .45cal Bore-tips work perfectly with .45 Auto, 45-70 Government, .460 Weatherby Mag, .480 Ruger, .455 Webley, .458 Winchester Mag and more. They can even double as a chamber brush for .22/5.56 rifles, making them a versatile addition to your cleaning kit.
