The Lancer Systems L5 AWM Magazine is a polymer and steel hybrid that combines the best features of each material. The one-piece steel feed lip unit is permanently fixed to the polymer body. The steel is hardened so the dimensions will not change in long term storage or rough use.

The PTFE coating ensures the steel will not rust. The polymer body is designed with an internal dimension that is a constant curve, combined with a no-tilt follower for maximum reliability in feeding 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. The steel feed lip assembly and the polymer body are corrosion and chemical resistant. The floor plate slides off similar to a USGI magazine for cleaning and maintenance.

    I have smoke and clear. Olive Drab is subdued like smoke, and remaining rounds can be seen clearly up close. Clear pops and is great for snow. OD is lightweight, feeds positively and is reliable for mag flipping. Great quality and strength.

    Great color choice

    If you don’t know lancer mags, they are great and reliable. I was worried the OD green translucent would be too bright, but it looks perfect. Would recommend.

    I have other colors of Lancer mags, but I wanted a couple in OD green. Purchased them along with the Magpul coupler. Great buy.

    My favorite mags for the AR hands down, my usual is clear smoke but when the OD green were released I had to have a few to go with my OD Super Duty. This is the best value of any seller I've found. Great deal on a top tier magazine.
