Telesteps 1600ET
This is a great ladder. Really simple to deploy and use, it locks positively and is steady to climb. Collapsing is a breeze also with no pinching of fingers experienced. It is solidly made and finished to very high standard. Super portable looks the part too. Very happy with this Telesteps product.

Think I'll donate all my old ladders and buy one for home
We got a 12 1/2 Telesteps several months ago after frustration of needing one to clear the gutters during a massive downpour at my office. It is really tiny and sets up in a heart beat. Just the perfect item for a small office closet. Just got hit with a big storm and saw water running over the gutters (never a good sign for keeping the roof and building healthy) so I grabbed it and dashed outside. At 6'4" and over 270 it was as stable as any of my big ladders at home (Even though only rated for 250 lbs). I told my office manager "Best Buy Ever". Maybe a little exaggeration but still VERY PLEASED.

why did i wait?!
that's what I said when i bought my first telesteps ladder many years ago now. This ladder is so convenient, maneuverable, compact, light, and valuable. I work in residential construction and use this often for first story inspections, getting into attics through access panels, small repairs, etc. I should be a dealer as i'm asked nearly every time someone sees it for the first time where to get one. This is my second and embodies several valuable upgrades like a better, more durable, visible, positive rung locking mechanism, much better feet which also pivot, and since I bought the 300lb duty rated version, stiffer rails. I still have my old one which I've given to one of my associates and it keeps going on strong. It can be extended full length all at once or any length in between rung by rung. It can also be collapsed rung by rung or all at once. Other versions don't do this and are heavier. teh folding ladders are very heavy and bulky and can't compare with this one.
