BattleSteel is a leading supplier armor plates, body armors, and personal protection equipment. Constructed with Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), Longfri’s NIJ 0101.06 Certified Stand Alone single curve 10” x 12” Level III plate is lightweight (3.5 lbs.) and highly durable. For an innovative approach to trauma reduction, these plates are backed with 9 mm of lightweight and breathable PORON XRD® extreme impact Protection padding. The molecular polymer padding is infused with Microban® for anti-microbial and odor prevention. This plate is also Special Threat tested for 5.56 - M193 in excess of 3200 fps. Constructed with US and imported materials and fully assembled in the United States.

Good plates so far.
Haven’t been shot with them, but looks like good construction, light weight and fairly thin, but I seem thinner for more money. Will be buying another plate so test it myself, but looks good to go since they are NIj certified.

Ordered and received my plates in less than a week. The difference between these and the steel plates is more than numbers on a weight scale. I couldn't believe the difference after putting my carrier on. Well worth the price. Highly recommend. (Came here by way of Mrgunsandgear - YouTube). Great Customer service as well.
