  • Bomb ballistic blankets are designed to reduce damage caused by bombs. While at this, they help to minimize the risk of secondary fragmentation from improvised explosive devices. They are made from several layers of treated aramid fabric. Bomb ballistic blankets are lightweight and can be carried by one person. Its lightness coupled with the flexible bomb suppression blanket, helps it to absorb blast impact better. It is effective against most pipe bombs. Also, it has been proven to protect against hand grenade fragments, mine clearance, among others. It has a cover that is fire retardant and water repellent. There are different sizes which are designed based on the reason for their use. With a ballistic blanket, security personnel will feel safe.
