STANDING TALL, RUNNING FREE

Built on the same chassis as our proven Johnny Combat Ops boot, the SF version takes our unique tactical boot to the next level...a military regulation 8" to be exact. The SF features a split-grain leather toe & heel overlay combined with a nylon chassis for lightweight support & durability. Internally the wide forefoot provides for ample foot splay and comfort under heavy combat loads. The aggressive Strife outsole, while visually similar to its predecessor, features a new rubber compound for improved outdoor traction and a high-rebound EVA midsole for enhanced performance. Whether your 'daily gunfight' involves asymmetrical desert conflicts or tending to domestic shitbirds, the Johnny Combat SF boot is fit for duty.

    Okay,Not great

Boots are okay for general short term wear. Absolutely no padding in upper portion so if you were thinking about these for anything other than just general occasional wear, Look for something else better suited for your purpose.

Will destroy the back of your heels

First time wearing them, about a 30min walk and I was like yeah… I realize why these are only $39.. Could be solved by padding the heel or possibly changing the insole to raise the heel so the foot naturally wants to slip more forward and avoid friction on the back of your feet. If you can solve the heel issue they should be solid.

The color is Desert Tan, not Coyote

Just got it, seems like solid boots. For your information, the color is Desert Tan, not Coyote. Sort of color that was used to be with UCP days, but I'm sure it's not for the current OCP AR670 regulation in any way. Probably that's the reason it's on closeout. Size is little bit bigger side, like Belleville. Belleville is almost a full size bigger, this one is about a half size bigger. I have insanely wide feet and was worried about the witdh; turns out it has wider width than most of the medium width boots and fits great. Big toe room. If you're not sure about the sizing or crossed between sizes, go with a half smaller size. My opinion the boot is cross between Nike/Oakly-style assault boot and Belleville-style ruck boot. Lightweight enough yet feel solid. Feels great for the price, but it's too early to tell the performance and durability. And the laces are 550 paracord. It's bit short for speed lacing.

    Good boots!

I got these boots on a whim. I needed tan boots for work. These do not dissapoint. They are comfortable out of the box.

    These run large

I wear a 11 or 11.5 in almost every other shoe or boot out there but in these the 11 was far too big. Go down at least a full size from what you wear in other brands. Look nice but not a whole lot of arch support. Average quality Chinese manufactured boots.

    Nice Fitting, Comfortable

So far, these fit and work well. Will be using these for rucking and training, but overall it's a good pair of boots. Botach was excellent, as usual.
