The Gerber LMF II Infantry is a purpose-built emergency egress and survival fixed blade, field tested with American troops for proven performance and durability. A hard use cutting tool, the LMF II offers amazing performance in multiple applications and comes with a MOLLE compatible sheath for security in a variety of carry positions. The LMF II is a tool you can count on when the chips are down.

The Blade: The LMF II is a beast with a utilitarian drop point blade and tough saber grind. The partial serrations rip through webbing and rope while the plain edge section lends this knife to bushcraft tasks needed for wilderness survival. A short top swedge gives enhanced piercing performance in both combat and survival scenarios. Designed as an aircrew emergency egress tool, the 420HC blade is tough enough to cut through the fuselage of an aircraft, highly corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen in the field.

The Handle: Glass-filled nylon with TPV, high-traction rubber overmold makes the handle of the LMF II comfortably, durable and secure in the hand. The double guard offers added security in combat and is equipped with two lashing holes. The massive striking pommel has both combat and rescue applications. The tang of the blade is not connected to the pommel reducing impact shock transfer as well as working with the handle material to insulate against electrical shock.

The Sheath: Hard plastic sheath with on-board sharpener and MOLLE Compatible Ballistic nylon Back with fire retardant coating. Includes two high-traction nylon web straps for leg carry.
