Smith & Wesson Extraction and Evasion Spring Assist Knife

The Smith & Wesson Extraction and Evasion Spring Assist knife functions by pulling the spine toggle or by pushing the blade stud. The Extraction and Evasion series uses the M.A.G.I.C. (Multipurpose Assisted Generation Innovative Cutlery) system which snaps the blade out quickly. This model, the SWEE2BS, features a part serrated blade of 4034 stainless steel with a black tactical teflon coat. The interesting thing about the serrations is they are on the tip of the blade--this makes it nice because for close in cutting you have the plain edge and for strap cutting you have the serrations at the tip. The aluminum handles have a fantastic pattern that gives tons of grip and they are extremely comfortable to hold. At the base of the handle there is a lanyard hole. The safety is built on the side of the handle and shows red when the blade is "live" or ready to fire. Includes a pocket clip which is reversible (right-left).
