Description

Durability, safety, and comfort... all of these factors were considered when Rocky® constructed AlphaForce Zipper Composite Toe Duty Boots.

To create a durably tough exterior, Rocky used full-grain leather and 1000 denier nylon (superior strength). A side zipper allows you to easily get these boots on and off. It's covered with a VELCRO® strap.

While you're on duty, Alpha Force boots keep your feet safe. They have a composite toe that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. The boots also meet ASTM F2413-11 Electrical Hazard standards.

Although these Alpha Force duty boots have a tough exterior, the Air-Port™ cushion footbed supports and cushions your feet each time you take a step. It also circulates air within these boots.

The RigiTrac™ outsole won't leave marks, and its slip-resistance helps you keep your balance while on duty.

With all of these great features, this Rocky Alpha Force is the right duty boot for you!

Features

  • PROTECTIVE TOE - Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
  • ELECTRICAL HAZARD - Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
  • ROCKY® WATERPROOF - Rocky® Waterproof construction insures the highest level of waterproof protection while maintaining breathability.
  • WATERPROOF - This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.

    The Rocky boots fit well

Posted by James P. on 26th Sep 2014

The Rocky boots fit well and don't slip even when somewhat loose.
They're not clunky and grip very well, the only drawback is the snap covers for the zipper don't want to stay snapped, but they do make great pull-on tabs!
Overall good boots but I would suggest velcro covers for the zippers.

    These boots fit very well

These boots fit very well and don't rub walking or on pt, but the zipper snap cover unsnaps and the snaps on the inside can press on leg if socks aren't smooth.
Otherwise they are very good with medium insoles, I haven't had to breakin more than 2 days and even then my feet didn't get worn out.
Lightweight and great gripping on loose soil and slick concrete and the conveinience of a ZIPPER!

I have has rocky boots and they have been good, I also have had bates, danner, matterhorn, altama, etc and they also have been good. These rockys are very snug and form well after a couple of days, the function is good except for the snap cover for the zipper. For me a zipper is a must and these boots do the job, dry, cool, light, no slip, etc except for the snap cover. It comes unsnapped and the snaps get into your leg, and when I finally get both covers, 4-snaps, snapped and a movement as little as pressing the gas pedal invariably at least one comes unsnapped. I hope rocky uses velcro next time, I am adding velcro to mine. Jim
