This is just a good product, most people just use ammo cans to store magazines and there's nothing wrong with tried and true systems, but for those wanting a bit quicker access to mags, this is for them. It's the best wall mountable magazine rack I've come across to date. Although my gun room has custom built in slots for 30rd magazines, mine has a dampener storage system that protects exposed bullet tips, but for some reason I decided to try one of these, and I'm glad I did. This is built solid and holds metal and polymer magazines. I tried it with both 5.56 metal & polymer 30rd magazines (Magpul gen m2 and current gen m3 magazines) Troy magazines, USGI traditional metal magazines and Lancer magazines) I also tried 6.8 PRI, ASC, C-Products 25 rd magazines and Barretta's 30rd metal magazines. Every magazine in both calibers fit snug as a bug in a rug. They put much thought into this product as well, some people run ranger floor plates and some Troy mag users run that goofy Troy magazine pull. Both magazines have a slot cutout rest to accommodate the protrusions. The only negative is the price. The product appears to be made from one piece injected polymer process, which is inexpensive to fabricate. Since Botach has the lowest price and free shipping, the deal was fair on a well made product.
