The HL Series now has a hands-free, USB rechargeable lighting solution! When your task requires both hands and a bright light with a wide, flood beam, reach for the ProTac HL USB Headlamp. Charge on-the-go using almost any USB source, and since it accepts multiple battery sources as a backup, you’ll always have power when you need it.
- Designed for maximum illumination with a wide beam to light an entire area
- TEN-TAP programming, which allows the user to select one of three different programs:
- high/ medium/low (default program)
- high only
- low/medium/high
- Three lighting modes:
- High for super-bright light: 1,000 lumens; 13,000 candela; 228m beam; runs 2 hours
- Medium for bright light and longer run time: 400 lumens; 6,000 candela;60m beam; runs 2.75 hours
- Low for a less intense beam and extended run time: 65 lumens; 900 candela; 60m beam; runs 20 hours
- Solid State power regulation provides maximum light output throughout battery life
- 90° tilting head reduces neck fatigue
- Powered by rechargeable lithium ion battery (included); also accepts a Streamlight rechargeable 18650 battery or two CR123 lithium batteries
- Durable, anodized aluminum construction; gasket-sealed, glass lens
- IPX4 water-resistant; 1 meter impact resistance tested
- Includes rubber and elastic head straps, USB cord and lithium ion battery

A little heavy, but rugged and dependable, takes a few clicks to get used to selecting the hi-med-lo settings. Tilt feature works great.

Very nice bright light..I have
Very nice bright light..I have a headlamp that uses AAA batteries and it's funcuality is ok, however this streamlight headlamp uses CR123A batteries. I live in a cold state, ND, and I have found they are much more dependable. All the streamlight flashlights I own are great and dependable. ..this headlamp is no exception. The next best light to surefire. ...and much more affordable

excellent equipment
Brightest setting is as bright and clean as a 500W halogen light. The low setting throws plenty of light for working within a 10 yd radius. Wears comfortably, tilt positions are secure. The 'tap' method of adjusting brightness takes getting used to.
