The plates themselves look really good. Not quite as “finished” as the more expensive plates, but they appear completely useable at a fraction of the price. The weight reduction over all ceramic plates is very noticeable, and the multi curve is done well. I entirely recommend the multi curve over the single curve too. Having purchased both, I wouldn’t even consider purchasing a single curve plate again. My only gripe with the purchase is Botach typically will package as cheaply as possible, and in this case it was the same way. It doesn’t matter what type plate you buy (even the full ceramic), it’ll have a sheet or maybe two of paper around it in a box big enough to get thrashed in, essentially with essentially no padding - especially along the edges. Same thing with magazines, they arrive in a thinly padded plastic envelope. You can see where the feed lips wear through the packaging completely. So 5 stars on the product, minus one star solely for completely cheesy “who cares” packaging.

Kind of shocked with how high quality these plates are for the price. The weight is about 4.8-5 lb but the multicurve profile really makes such a huge difference in comfort. You can go lighter with a lvl3 plate but lots of yahoo’s are running green tip because “that’s what the military uses” so i feel it’s important to have that protection. Hoping someone buys an extra to shoot so we can get some real world results but I’m very happy with my purchase.

Dimensions are spot-on. Curve is good but could use a little more over the top of the chest. Finish seems sturdy and even. Based on the reviewed performance of the Level IV plate, I assume this is fully capable of performing at least as well as advertised and with better curve, warranty, weight, and coverage than the Level 4.

I just received a set of these. No complaints, though. The multicurve is nice. They were shipped right away, too! i got my order in about 4 days (awesome). Hope I never have to test these. Each plate weights 5lbs

The plates are light weight and the multi curve shape, makes them quite comfortable to wear. For the price and a 10 year warranty, they are hard to beat.
